The Directors Guild of America announced Wednesday that its 2014 awards ceremony is set to take place on Saturday, Jan. 25. The 66th annual ceremony will be held in the Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland in Los Angeles.
At this year’s awards, Ben Affleck won the trophy for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film for Argo. The award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Comedy Series went to Girls creator Lena Dunham.
The DGA was founded in 1936, and represents 15,000 directors and members of the directorial team working in film, television, commercials, new media and other audiovisual media.
