‘Dirty Grandpa’ Trailer: Robert De Niro and Zac Efron Hit Florida for Spring Break

Robert De Niro and Zac Efron play a grandfather and grandson duo who party their way through a wild spring break in the first trailer for Dirty Grandpa.

In the movie, Dick Kelly (De Niro), a foul-mouthed former Army general, tricks his straitlaced grandson Jason (Efron) into driving him to Daytona Beach, Florida, for one last hurrah before he goes into a retirement home.

Jason is hesitant at first, having to leave his controlling fiancee (Julianne Hough) back at home just days before his wedding.

Meanwhile, Dick doesn’t let the fact that he’s recently widowed hold him back from having fun. He grieves in his own way by partying it up with college students and flirting with Aubrey Plaza’s character Lenore.

The trailer teases a shirtless flex-off competition, plenty of booze and even Efron’s character smoking crack. (“I just smoked crack!” Jason exclaims to a cheering crowd.)

The Lionsgate film, directed by Dan Mazer, also stars Zoey Deutch, Jason Mantzoukas, Danny Glover, Adam Pally and Dermot Mulroney.
