Tris, Four and their friends explore a new world in the first trailer for Allegiant, the third film in the Divergent Series.
The trailer, released via Buzzfeed, shows the group moving beyond the wall as they learn about the Bureau of Genetic Welfare. A group of children recognize and greet Four, who asks how they know who he is. “They’ve grown up watching you,” says their guide. “Nothing creepy about that,” says Peter.
Jeff Daniels’ character explains why they created the Chicago Experiment, as a way to find a safe place for people to heal. But as the group learns more, they realize the people where they grew up are in danger and start to fight to return home.
“This is us against the people on the other side of that wall,” says Christina. “We’re saving the city,” says Tris as she prepares for yet another battle. The film hits theaters on March 18, 2016.
