Michelle Pesce, publicist-turned-Hollywood’s go-to DJ, is combining her past and present work experience to launch a new phase of her career: founder of new talent firm nona entertainment.
In addition to managing Pesce’s career on the turntables, which includes every major event on the industry calendar, nona will also represent DJ Alex Merrell on the West Coast. The company will also help book private events for DJ Spider, Mr. Best and DJ Cobra in concert with management company Interlock Entertainment, and for Tendaji Lathan alongside his reps at Karma Media Group.
“The knowledge and experience I received working in marketing at Fox Broadcasting, as a personal publicist at Wolf-Kasteler and then by managing my own career as a full-time DJ has naturally led me to launch nona entertainment,” Pesce said in a statement. “I’m excited to continue to work with top-tier companies that I have built strong relationships with by teaming them up with artists I believe in.”
Pesce, a regular in-studio DJ for ABC’s Good Morning America, has spun at parties for major award shows (Oscars, Emmys, Grammys, Golden Globes, SAG), film festivals, magazines (InStyle, GQ, W, Vogue, Vanity Fair, Glamour, Marie Claire, People, Entertainment Weekly), networks and studios (HBO, Paramount, Fox Searchlight, Warner Bros., Viacom, NBCUniversal), fashion houses (Saint Laurent, Marni, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Vera Wang, Fendi, Marc Jacobs), agencies (UTA, CAA, WME) and other companies and organizations (Audi, Google, Motorola, Samsung, Soho House West Hollywood, The Clinton Foundation, Women in Film, LAXART).
