PARIS – Dominique Strauss-Kahn proved once again that audiences love real-life drama when the politician’s interview on leading French TV network on Sunday night attracted a record 13.4 million viewers, the most for any news program in the territory since 2005.
Almost half of the French population tuned in to see Strauss-Kahn break his silence about accusations he assaulted a hotel maid in New York last May in an interview with TF1’s nightly news host Claire Chazal.
