Answers were given with tact and restraint as Hollywood’s most powerful studio executives discussed the issue of the gender wage gap. “As consumer tastes shift around the globe,” said Universal Pictures chairman Donna Langley, “and as we do see are more roles for women — the more there are, the more women who can participate, I think the salaries will go up.”
