Megyn Kelly‘s exclusive interview with 19 Kids and Counting parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar addressing son Josh Duggar‘s sexual molestation allegations will air Wednesday night on Fox News.
Two of Josh’s sisters, Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard, were also interviewed for The Kelly File sit-down, portions of which will air Wednesday and Friday. The sisters — who have previously not been identified by name in relation to the allegations against Josh — will tell their story of what happened to them.
During the interview, Jessa admits that Josh’s actions were “very wrong,” but then goes on to support him: “I do want to speak up in his defense against people who are calling him a child molester or a pedophile or a rapist, some people are saying. I’m like, that is so overboard and a lie, really. I mean, people get mad at me for saying that, but I can say this because I was one of the victims.”
The Duggar family official Facebook page also informed fans that the sisters will “tell their story” during the interview at the Duggar family home in Arkansas: “Please be sure to watch our interview this evening (9 EST) with Megyn Kelly and then tune in again this Friday when Jessa and Jill tell their story,” the family posted early Wednesday afternoon.
“There was so much grief in our hearts. I think as parents we felt, ‘We’re failures,’ you know? Here we tried to raise our kids to — to do what’s right and know what’s right. And yet, one of our children made really bad choices and I think as a parent we were just — we were devastated,” Michelle says in a clip of the Fox interview.
The first part of the interview will air Wednesday on Fox’s The Kelly File at 9 p.m. ET.
