Veteran distribution and marketing executive Dylan Wiley has been promoted to senior vice president and general manager of Entertainment One’s growing U.S. operation.
In his expanded role at eOne Films U.S., Wiley will manage the unit’s growing TV and digital sales, in addition to his continued role overseeing theatrical sales and acquisitions. He played a key role in launching the emerging distribution entity, which scored an early success with A Late Quartet. Upcoming releases include Diana, starring Naomi Watts as the late Princess Diana, which rolls out in theaters Nov. 1.
Wiley will continue to report to David Reckziegel, president of eOne Films North America.

“I’m delighted to announce Dylan’s promotion. Dylan has built our US theatrical presence in a short period of time and I’m continually impressed by his abilities, his creativity and his results,” Reckziegel said. “The global film business and windowing patterns have evolved and we recognize that it is more important than ever to take a holistic approach to marketing and distribution. This is most significant in the U.S. market where release patterns are constantly evolving.”
Added Wiley: “I am pleased to now be in a position to best serve our partners with release campaigns conceived for and synchronized across all media.”
Wiley joined eOne as vice president of theatrical marketing and distribution in August 2011. The unit’s slate has also included David Cronenberg‘s Cosmopolis, along with the films Iron Sky and Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf‘s. Upcoming titles include British comedy Cuban Fury and Cronenberg’s Maps to the Stars.
Prior to joining eOne, Wiley was head of marketing and distribution at RKO Pictures. He also did a stint at New Line Cinema, including serving as director of theatrical marketing.
