Ed Sheeran joined Jeff Lynne‘s ELO to perform “Mr. Blue Sky” and “Evil Woman.” Paul McCartney jumped out of his seat when the artists appeared onstage.
ELO recently reunited for its first performance in 28 years in London this past September. ELO’s hits during the early ’70s and ’80s include “Livin’ Thing” and “Strange Magic.”
Sheeran’s album X is nominated for album of the year.
The Grammys were held Feb. 8 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
