Mad Men is sharing the Emmy nominations by series with a creepy friend in FX’s American Horror Story, which collected mentions for its cast and a slew of technical categories for the 2012 Primetime Emmys. Meanwhile, HBO leads the networks with 81 mentions for entries including Game of Thrones and Boardwalk Empire, which will go head-to-head in the best drama category.
