TORONTO – Grey’s Anatomy‘s Eric Dane and Beverly Hills 90210‘s Kathleen Robertson are toplining The Fixer, a four-hour miniseries from Canadian producer Muse Entertainment now shooting in Montreal.
Peter Howitt is directing the action thriller, which Sonar Entertainment will distribute worldwide outside of Canada.
Dane currently stars on The Last Ship and Robertson stars on Murder in the First.
The Fixer features Robertson as an investigator probing an oil rig disaster, and facing a rival private investigation by a secret tipster, played by Dane.
The investigating pair eventually get caught up in a wider scheme by a band of “fixers” to target Washington, D.C., with a catastrophic event whose success hinges on the duo ending up as casualties.
The Fixer is produced by Gilles Perreault (Being Human), with Irene Litinsky, Michael Prupas, Gene Stein and Christina O’Shea-Daly sharing the executive producer credit.
Muse Entertainment is also currently at work on the Ben Kingsley-starring King Tut event series for Spike TV.
