San Francisco’s Academy of Art University will present honorary doctorates to Eva Marie Saint and Roger Corman at its annual awards night on May 6 at the Golden Gate Theatre in San Francisco.
The awards night is part of the AAU’s fifth annual Epidemic Film Festival, showcasing student filmmakers, which runs from May 6-8.
Corman, the prolific producer, and Saint, an Oscar-winner for On the Waterfront, will be given Doctorates of Humane Letters at the event.
AAU consists of 16 colleges each dedicated to a specific area of art and design including motion pictures, television, and acting.
