There’s a change at the top of Chernin Entertainment’s TV division.
Former head of TV Dante Di Loreto is out and will segue into a producing deal with the company. Replacing him as executive vp television is Fabrik Entertainment partner Kristen Campo.
Campo will oversee the company’s TV business, including development and production of its diverse slate. She will report to Jenno Topping, Chernin’s president of film and TV.
“Kristen is an exceptional and discerning executive who has a sharp eye for creating engaging content that breaks through the clutter,” Topping said Wednesday in a statement. “We have long admired the projects that she’s brought to life, and we are thrilled to have her on our team.”
Campo, a member of The Hollywood Reporter‘s Next Gen Class of 2014, was a partner at Fabrik where she headed production and development. During the past 10 years, she set up and oversaw series including Fox’s The Good Guys, AMC/Netflix’s The Killing, NBC’s Odyssey and FX’s The Comedians.
“Chernin Entertainment is such a dynamic and forward-thinking company, which is clearly reflected in its diverse programming in both the feature and television spaces,” said Campo. “I’m excited to work alongside Peter [Chernin], Jenno and the rest of the remarkable team to further grow the business and build upon its current success.”
Di Loreto joined Chernin in August 2015 after a long run as head of television for Ryan Murphy’s 20th Century Fox Television banner.
