Universal on Wednesday confirmed the dates for the ninth and tenth installments of its blockbuster Fast & Furious franchise.
The studio has penciled in April 19, 2019, for the ninth sequel, and April 2, 2021, for the tenth and — for the moment — final film in the series. The tenth pic being released in 2021 would mean Fast & Furious will have spanned two decades by its conclusion.
The eighth installment, Fast 8, is set to hit theaters April 14, 2017, and will be directed by Straight Outta Compton‘s F. Gary Gray.
Earlier on Tuesday night, Vin Diesel took to Instagram and posted the dates for the last three films in the Fast & Furious saga.
