Fences executive producer Brad Feinstein is launching a new production company, Romulus Entertainment.
Feinstein previously served as senior vp strategic finance and acquisitions at Bron Studios and also executive produced Beatriz at Dinner, starring Salma Hayek and John Lithgow, which is set to premiere this month at the Sundance Film Festival, and Monster, which recently wrapped production and stars Jeffrey Wright, Jennifer Hudson and A$AP Rocky.
The New York-based Romulus Entertainment aims to produce and finance six to eight films a year and develop director-driven projects with a focus on powerful dramatic films and elevated action thrillers.
During his time at Bron, Feinstein was instrumental in growing the company’s film and TV initiatives and worked to secure corporate and production financing. Prior to Bron, Feinstein worked at Bank of America Investment Services, UBS and Morgan Stanley.
Capstone Capital Group co-founder Joseph Ingrassia is joining Feinstein as a partner at Romulus.
“I am incredibly grateful for the experience I had working at Bron Studios and feel proud of the projects I was a part of during my time there,” Feinstein said Monday in a statement. “As I look ahead to the future, I am excited to embark on my own production venture with the inception of Romulus Entertainment. I plan to concentrate my efforts on working with the top talent and partners to bring extraordinary stories to the screen.”
