Paramount Pictures has hired Danielle Kupchak and Len Iannelli away from 20th Century Fox to join its theatrical marketing team.
Reporting to Peter Giannascoli, co-president of domestic marketing, Kupchak as executive vp global creative content will oversee the creative content for Paramount’s theatrical marketing campaigns. She was previously senior vp global creative content in theatrical marketing at Fox, having overseen the studio’s campaigns for Deadpool 2 and Bohemian Rhapsody, among others.
Iannelli becomes senior vp events and special projects at Paramount. Over 27 years at Fox, Iannelli oversaw the production of nearly 600 events, which included red carpet motion picture premieres, publicity stunts, marketing summits, promotional showcases, live concert performances and fan events.
Walt Disney’s $71.3 billion acquisition of most of the assets of the former 21st Century Fox has led to a number of executive departures and layoffs, allowing rival studios to pick up new talent.
