Versace went soft this season, with pastels, floaty chiffon layers, frayed edges and floral crowns that would be fitting on the most glamorous Coachella girl.
“I’m loving this,” said Michelle Rodriguez, who attended her first show last season and is now a seasoned fashion fan. “I’m curious about the closets and the designers and the art. The more I can pop into shows and the more invites I get the more I can explore and the more I can learn,” she said, noting that she has a very full schedule this week.

“I came with a lot of energy,” she said, after being laid up in L.A. for a couple of weeks. “Watch out.”
Donatella toned down this season’s look from the tougher vinyl bodices and bright solids of the last two seasons. She kept her cutouts, of course – it’s still sexy Versace – but the look was less power suit and more ‘70s, complete with vinyl platform boots.
Model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who tried her best on the big screen in Transformers: Dark of the Moon and Mad Max: Fury Road, seems to be leaving the acting to her better half, Jason Statham, these days. After the “not too hard” Mad Max press tour, she doesn’t have any film projects lined up. “I don’t know, I just don’t,” she said, noting that Versace was her first ever couture show from the front row. “It’s lovely to be on the other side of the catwalk.”
Afterward, Rodriguez dodged a swarm of photographers outside the Palais Brongniart and a group of locals playing roller hockey in the adjacent square, but not without jumping back out of her car for selfies with fans.
Lara Stone and Karlie Kloss were among those who graced the catwalk, but there were no “models off duty” snaps of post-show jeans and tees here; the girls decamped for the AmFAR party across town in their gorgeous gowns.
