Riccardo Tisci is heading to New York this September to present Givenchy’s spring 2016 collection during fashion week, running from Sept. 10-17. The creative director is swapping Paris, where he usually presents his runway shows, for the Big Apple to show his latest collection in correspondence with the opening of Givenchy’s flagship at 747 Madison Avenue in New York.

The runway show will be presented on Sept. 11, which happens to be the 14th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the U.S. “It’s a very delicate day for America, and so the show is going to be a celebration of family and love,” Tisci told WWD, revealing that he’s also working with performance artist Marina Abramovic for the spectacle.”
