
Mercury Radio Arts announced a megadeal June 11 with Clear Channel's Premiere Networks to continue his popular radio show on 400 stations nationwide for another five years. Beck, 48, will be paid $20 million a year to host and produce the show, twice what he made under his 2007-12 contract.

Glenn Beck is teaming with Vince Vaughn for a reality TV show.
Beck’s TheBlaze, an Internet TV network, will be home to Pursuit of Truth, a show that is essentially a competition among filmmakers vying for financing to create a documentary film. The grand prize includes worldwide distribution for their creation.

Contestants could be asked to create sizzle reels, execute key interviews for their proposed projects or pitch scenes to a panel of judges.
Vaughn’s Wild West Prods. is producing along with Go Go Luckey, the company founded by Gary Auerbach that is behind such shows as Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County.
“Our goal is to create a powerful annual platform to help filmmakers tell important and engaging stories,” said Peter Billingsley, a Wild West principal. Billingsley is a producer and an actor best known for his 1983 role as BB gun-loving Ralphie in A Christmas Story.
Wild West has several shows in various stages of development, including a reboot of The Brady Brunch for CBS and sitcom for ABC that will star Tony Danza.
TheBlaze offers a full slate of online programming from a conservative, usually patriotic perspective, that is also available to DishNetwork subscribers.

Shows include Independence USA, Liberty Treehouse, Real News, BS of A and Wilkow, starring talk-radio host Andrew Wilkow. “We are excited to continue ot expand our programming with producers like Vince Vaughn, Peter Billingsley and Gary Auerbach,” said Joel Cheatwood, president and chief content officer for TheBlaze.
