Universal Music Publishing Group has renewed and extended its administration deal with Gloria Estefan and Emilio Estefan Jr. and their various publishing entities, including Estefan Music Publishing and Foreign Imported Production & Publishing. The deal has been extended to include North America, in addition to handling all foreign territories.
As part of the now worldwide deal, UMPG will soon be servicing a CD sampler and e-sampler to various music users to help promote the Estefans’ catalog, which features hits from Latin superstars such as
Ricky Martin,
Shakira,
Jennifer Lopez,
Thalia,
Jon Secada,
Paulina Rubio, and
Alejandro Fernandez.
UMPG President and CEO David Renzer commented: “Gloria and Emilio are icons who not only have created some of the most enduring hits of the past several decades, but continue to create exciting new music that will become the standards of the future.
