Good Morning America meteorologist Ginger Zee had only good things to say about her colleague, GMA co-host Robin Roberts, at The Hollywood Reporter‘s 35 Most Powerful People in New York Media party on Wednesday night.
When asked who she personally considered to be the most powerful person in New York, Zee was quick to name Roberts, whom she described as “the sister that you always wanted.”

“People don’t even realize her inner power and her inner strength. Who she’s been to me and to most of our team is more than you can get out of the camera,” she said. “If I have a problem, I go straight to her. I think my mom’s getting jealous.”
Zee was among those who stepped out at New York’s Four Seasons restaurant on Wednesday to toast the 2015 edition of THR‘s annual 35 Most Powerful People in Media list.
