Mark David Christenson decided to see what it was like to be an Oscar winner in Los Angeles on the night of the Academy Awards, without going through the trouble of actually winning an Oscar.

Christenson and New Media Rockstars pulled a prank on everyone they came across in L.A. during the Academy Awards as Christenson donned a tux and carried a fake Oscar around with him to bars and VIP parties. The fake Oscar love came in all forms — selfies, congratulatory remarks, girls’ phone numbers, free food/drinks/condoms and the keys to a BMW — no questions asked.
