Chanel makeup artist Rachel Goodwin gives a quick breakdown of the products she used to create Emma Stone’s pretty daytime look for the La La Land photocall in Venice (No. 14 on The Hollywood Reporter’s Top 25 Beauty Moments of 2016.
Skin prep: “I prepped Emma’s skin with Chanel’s La Solution 10 [a gentle moisturizer for sensitive skin].”
Flawless foundation: “I used Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation in shade no. 10 Beige on Emma — it’s super lightweight base. Nothing heavy.”
Eyes: “I used the bronze shade from Chanel’s Quadra Eyeshadow in Code Subtils (available in December), lots of Hourglass’ Curator Mascara in ‘Realist’ and Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer in Auburn for subtle definition.”
Cheeks: “I applied Rituel de Fille Inner Glow Cream Blush in ‘Desire’ on Emma’s cheeks and RMS Living Luminizer just on her cheekbones for a dewy finish.”
Lips: Chanel Le Rouge Crayon de Couleur in Nude (available in January) was applied to Stone’s lips, but for something similar, try Chanel’s Rouge Coco Shine in Boy (shade 54).
