Christine Chiu, a Beverly Hills socialite and philanthropist, is in a unique position.
Not only is the 33-year-old a member of an elite number of women who make the biannual trek to Paris in pursuit of haute couture fabulousness, but she’s also the wife of Gabriel, a plastic surgeon who often accompanies her to sit front row at the likes of Chanel, Giambattista Valli and more.
Aside from taking in the breathtaking work of the ateliers, the Chius have another hobby: predicting plastic surgery requests based on the cut of the garment. “These trends trickle down from haute couture to ready-to-wear, to retail stores,” Chiu tells THR.
