The last installment of The Hunger Games will premiere Nov. 20, and the just-released teaser trailer for Mockingjay — Part 2 has stoked the flames of fans’ excitement.
There’s more than enough action and emotion to whet Tributes’ appetites for more. Here’s a look at 10 of the best moments from the teaser trailer:
10. Phillip Seymour Hoffman as Plutarch
The talented actor sadly passed away in February 2014, but before he died he performed beautifully as the nuanced character of Plutarch. Director Francis Lawrence has revealed that when Hoffman died, he had only two substantial scenes left to film for the final Hunger Games movie, and Lawrence reworked the scenes to give to other actors. This means every time fans see Hoffman it is real performance, no CGI or digital manipulation has been added.
9. Finnick’s Hunger Games joke
“Ladies and gentleman, welcome to the 76th Hunger Games,” Finnick tells Katniss with his dark humor. The foreboding quote is a great way to close the teaser trailer.
8. Katniss‘ fiery speech
“We all have one enemy. He corrupts everyone and everything,” says Katniss. “He turns the best of us against each other. Tonight, turn your weapons to the Capitol.” There’s nothing like Katniss giving a powerful, inspirational speech to get people motivated for war.

5. Finnick’s wedding to Annie
Finnick finally marries his longtime love Annie in a wedding that looks like it manages to make the most of the ambiance — or lack thereof — in District 13. After all that these characters have been through, it will be sweet and romantic to see them finally take their vows.
4. Liam and Katniss racing away from explosions and toxic oil
The two best friends continue to fight alongside each other in the final movie, as they run away from explosions and a toxic oil wave. The oil threatens to engulf not only Liam and Katniss, but Peeta, Finnick and many more of their friends and fellow fighters.
3. Peeta and Katniss hug

Primrose Everdeen is the most important person in Katniss‘ life and the reason she was in the Hunger Games to begin with. In this scene, Prim and Katniss look joyful as they dance at Finnick’s wedding, before Katniss is overwhelmed with what looks like concern and distress over the dangerous situation that exists outside of District 13. The sisters’ relationship is a crucial one in the Hunger Games books and movies, and it is lovely to see them share a tender moment, albeit a short one.
