Menzel paired the tulle embroidered gown — complete with a flowery motif and a flattering corset — with loose hair, giving the 42-year-old actress an air of eternal youth and power.

The look’s piece de resistance, however, was a solo Forevermark diamond chain finger bracelet, which gracefully encircled her left wrist. A standing ovation was the least she could get.
