Clutching his Oscar, Bale walked up to congratulate Steinfeld on her nomination and introduce her to his wife. Wahlberg also congratulated Steinfeld, gave the young starlet a kiss on the cheek and posed for a few photos.
The 14-year-old Steinfeld was soaking in her first Oscars experience. In a “one-of-a-kind Marchesa” dress, Steinfeld rubbed elbows with Hollywood’s elite at show’s official after-party. “It twirls around,” she said of her pale pink tea length dress. “I’m having a great time. I’m going to Vanity Fair party tonight. Everyone says it’s the best party.”

Meanwhile, 127 Hours director Danny Boyle was a big fan of David O. Russell‘s The Fighter. At the ball, Boyle introduced himself to best supporting actress nominee Amy Adams and said: “I thought you and Melissa both should have won.”
