The couple purchased a 4-acre Mesa Canyon property in 1977 and gradually have acquired neighboring land. Now it’s a 73-acre compound featuring a natural waterfall, hiking trails and an amphitheater carved into rock that holds 50.
The 10-bedroom estate also includes a wine cellar, pool and guesthouse built by revered midcentury architect Albert Frey, with the 1920 main house built in the Provincial style.
A total of five structures offer 11,000 square feet of living space and connect via rock terraces and gardens. The property is listed at $14.5 million.
Joyce Rey of Coldwell Banker Previews International has the listing.
