Ira Glass will host the 2014 Peabody Awards, it was announced Monday.
The host and creator of This American Life will emcee this year’s ceremony, which is set to be held on May 19 at New York’s Waldorf Astoria.
Portions of the University of Georgia’s annual awards will be televised in a special that will air on Participant Media’s upstart Pivot cable network.

This American Life has won Peabody awards at four previous ceremonies, as well as many other accolades.
Glass will also announce some of this year’s winners, highlighting the best in TV, radio and web storytelling from 2013, on April 2 on CBS This Morning. He will be joined by Peabody board member Charlayne Hunter-Gault in announcing the winners.
