Additionally, Grammy-winning singer H.E.R. will make her debut to the Emmys for a special “In Memoriam” performance.
It was announced a few days later that the following stars would also be making appearances during the show: Jason Bateman, Sterling K. And the Emmys will also feature appearances from Ty Burrell, Ken Jeong, Mindy Kaling, Tatiana Maslany and Bob Newhart.
For this year’s ceremony, the most-nominated series was HBO’s Watchmen, with 26 in all, followed by Amazon’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel with 20. Netflix’s Ozark and HBO’s Succession each scored 18, while Disney+’s The Mandalorian, NBC’s Saturday Night Live and Pop TV’s Schitt’s Creek each earned 15 noms.
