Jamie Foxx is taking a beating following the fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao, and he wasn’t even in the ring.
Foxx performed the national anthem before the highly anticipated boxing match on Saturday in Las Vegas, and many viewers were less than impressed by his vocal performance.
“Both Boxers should take the first minute of the 1st round and knock out Jamie Foxx for butchering the Anthem!!” comedian Larry the Cable Guy tweeted about the rendition.
The fight itself was plagued with problems, including rampant piracy, a late start due to pay-per-view service outages and in-the-ring action that left fans a bit bored.
