Jeffrey Katzenberg has shared private dinners and counseled Barack Obama on his post-White House plans, but even he says it’s a “unique” experience to host the president in his home.
On Oct. 24, the DreamWorks founder and wife Marilyn hosted a roundtable with tech venture capitalist Chris Sacca and his wife, Crystal, and political consultant Andy Spahn and his wife, Children’s Action Network’s Jennifer Perry. J.J. Abrams, his wife, Katie McGrath, and lawyer Skip Brittenham were among the 25 guests who paid $100,000 each to attend and benefit the Hillary Victory Fund.
Three nights later Katzenberg picked up his amfAR Inspiration Gala honor and told THR that Obama “is still very ambitious about these last couple of months, and he’s got a huge agenda with things he wants to get done. You can’t help but be impressed — still [fighting] after eight years.”
