Jen Atkin has a name for Khloe Kardashian’s new short ‘do.
“I’m calling it the Celine lob,” said in-demand hair guru Atkin, responsible for styling the bulk of the Kardashian clan’s tresses. “It’s a very fashion-y lob.”
We caught up with Atkin, founder of Mane Addicts, at the inaugural InStyle Awards at the Getty Museum in L.A. on Monday night, a day after the big chop, and she admitted that the makeover was weeks and weeks in the making.
“I fully have peer pressured her for months now, and we really started thinking about it for two or three weeks,” admitted Atkin, who was dressed in a vintage YSL jacket, a Saint Laurent cross-body bag and Gianvito Rossi stems. “Finally she was like, ‘You know what? I’m ready for a change.’ So we did it and she’s happy. She loves it.”
But wait, there’s more. “It’s so funny because she said she’d never do it and we finally did,” she continued of the cut, which hits right below the collarbone and features layers throughout with blunt ends. “We’re all happy.”
