Just four days after announcing her own marriage was ending, Jennifer Lopez hit the stage to celebrate the nuptials of a couple in the Ukraine, according to published reports.
The American Idol judge — who announced her split from husband Marc Anthony on Friday — was paid a reported $1 million to sing at the wedding of the son of Uzbek oil tycoon Azam Aslamov in the Republic of Crimea.

Lopez reportedly stayed in a penthouse suite of the Villa Helena. Her entourage is said to have included numerous dancers, backup singers and makeup artists, along with 20 tons of sound equipment.
The wedding — said to have cost as much as $15 million — took place at the Crimean Aivazovskii Hotel on the Black Sea coast, according to reports, which claim the location was closed to visitors for several days. About 500 guests were in attendance, with some arriving via helicopter.
During her performance, Lopez reportedly asked the crowd: “Are you happy? I am happy, because I am here with you today!”

Lopez has been married to Anthony for seven years. They have two children together, twins Max and Emme.
“We have decided to end our marriage,” the couple said in a statement. “This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters. It is a painful time for all involved and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time.”

Professionally, Lopez and Anthony are producers of the Latin American talent competition, Q’Viva (The Chosen), which is still scheduled to start filming in the fall despite the breakup.
In June, Lopez declared that the show “is probably going to be the biggest thing I’ve been involved with yet.” Said Anthony of the endeavor, which took the couple to 21 countries: “It is with great pride that we embark on this amazing and very personal mission… We’re looking forward to experiencing history in the making.”
