The Buzz: One of the fest's most ambitious projects, it could prove puzzling: Benson has made two films about a troubled marriage -- one from the wife's perspective, the other from the husband's -- packaged together as one 190-minute film.
TORONTO — The Weinstein Co. is closing in on a deal to acquire U.S. and several international territories on the Jessica Chastain starrer The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Him and Her.
A source pegs the deal at between $3 million and $4 million.
Written and directed by Ned Benson, the film is a love story told by two different perspectives. James McAvoy, Viola Davis and William Hurt also star.

The 190-minute film, which is technically not finished yet, made its debut Sept. 9 at the Toronto Film Festival’s Elgin Theatre.
The deal marks the second major grab by The Weinstein Co., which took U.S. rights on the John Carney-helmed Can A Song Save Your Life?
