When Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, debuted on Vanity Fair‘s July cover, many people on social media thought Jenner resembled American Horror Story actress Jessica Lange. The comparison was so popular, Lange began trending on Twitter alongside Jenner.
So what does Lange think of the comparison to Jenner’s first post-transition photos? The Daily Beast asked Lange for her opinion, explaining to her what “trending” meant.
“That’s so wonderful,” she told the website. “Well now I’m going to have to look for that picture.”
She added, “Trending on Twitter because Caitlyn Jenner on the cover — you see I don’t do any of this stuff, the Internet. So I have no clue when people use this terminology. I have to repeat it to understand.”
