JetSuiteX, an air carrier that sells tickets for flights on multiple routes between Northern California, Las Vegas and (seasonally) Mammoth Lakes, is giving back in a time of need for those affected by the California wildfires, which started last week.
Surrounding Burbank’s Bob Hope Airport, where flights for JetSuiteX land and depart, is an area where smoke has been visible recently due to fires. The carrier has announced that it will donate a percentage of every ticket sold on Tuesday (Dec. 12) to the American Red Cross to help support fire relief in Southern California.
“In the days since the fires began, our pilots have navigated over the fire zones, and the scene is just heartbreaking,” Alex Wilcox, CEO and co-founder of JetSuiteX, said in a statement. “We are hopeful that in this holiday season, we can do at least a little to help support those affected by the fires in our region.”
Tickets are available for travel through April 3, 2018, and can be purchased on JetSuiteX’s website or by calling 800-IFLYJSX.
The carrier boasts that it offers “semi-private travel” with the ability to arrive 20 minutes before departure, with customers able to avoid security lines and enjoy complimentary cocktails and snacks on-board and in the lounge. Ticket prices start at $129 each way.

The Thomas Fire has become the fifth-biggest wildfire in California history. The Associated Press reported that it has destroyed more than 680 homes and is only partially contained after burning more than 360 square miles of dry brush and timber.
The fire has been burning for more than a week as tens of thousands of residents have evacuated homes in Montecito, Summerland, Carpinteria Fillmore and other coastal and inland towns.
