The Tonight Show‘s Jimmy Fallon has mocked President Donald Trump through impressions before, but the host has found a new way to take a stab at the commander-in-chief in collaboration with Martin Short, who was on the NBC late-night show to promote his tour with Steve Martin.
In a bit called “The Little Trumper Boys,” the two dressed up in “Little Drummer Boy” costumes with drum sets and Trump-like wigs and chanted along to the classic Christmas tune about Trump’s first year in office. The lyrics described some of Trump’s high-profile controversies, including his friendship with Russian President Vladimir Putin, his obsession with Hillary Clinton and his fixation on building a wall along the border of Mexico.
Fallon and Short even made a request to social media platform Twitter in light of when the president’s account was unavailable for 11 minutes earlier this month: “Shut down his Twitter feed, please, please, please, please, please, tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump.”
Watch the bit below.
