Jimmy Kimmel wasn’t afraid to toss out a few Caitlyn Jenner jokes on Tuesday.
The late night host used Jenner’s Vanity Fair cover as a springboard for a bit about Donald Trump‘s recent Instagram video, in which Trump said he’d be making a big announcement on June 16th.
“So his announcement was there’s going to be an announcement,” Kimmel joked, explaining many are expecting Trump to announce his run for president. But the late night host said he would much prefer if Trump announced his own Jenner-esque transition, and then displayed a doctored version of Jenner’s Vanity Fair cover with Trump’s face superimposed on Jenner’s body and a headline that reads: “Call Me Donna.”

“That’s how you give Hillary Clinton a run for her money,” said Kimmel.
In a different bit, Kimmel said Jenner’s transition and new name “is confusing because we’ve known Bruce Jenner since 1976.” He added, “It’s hard to burn a new name and a new gender into your brain.” This was a setup to a funny edit of The Bachelorette, inserting Jenner as the bachelorette with the same name (Kaitlyn Bristowe).
