The date would appear to make the movie a prime candidate for a debut somewhere on the 2015 Venice/Telluride/Toronto film festival awards circuit.
Scott Cooper is directing the crime drama for Warners and Cross Creek. It also stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Joel Edgerton, Kevin Bacon, Adam Scott, Dakota Johnson, Juno Temple and Jesse Plemons.
