Now that production on Two and a Half Men has been shut down following Charlie Sheen‘s antics, co-star Jon Cryer needs a job.
In a spoof to air on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Thursday, Cryer works as a temp for the talk show host, answering her phones. Watch above.

“You really do good work. You do the work of two and a half men,” jokes DeGeneres.
“You don’t have to say that every time,” he says. When DeGeneres thanks him, he says, “You know, I needed the work.”
When a caller asks how long DeGeneres prepares her dance for each show, Cryer explains that she works with a choreographer for several hours, hangs up and then jokes, “Oh, this is a train wreck.”
CBS canceled the remaining eight episodes of this season of Two and a Half Men after Sheen made controversial statements against co-creator Chuck Lorre. Sheen’s lawyer Marty Singer has threatened a lawsuit against the network to ensure he is paid his $1.2 million-per-episode salary.
Sheen has said he hasn’t heard from his co-star Cryer since beginning his media tour. (But Mel Gibson, Sean Penn and Colin Farrell have reached out, he says.)
In January — the day before Sheen was hospitalized for abdominal pain, which led him to undergo rehab at his home, which he has named the Sober Valley Lodge — Cryer told Conan O’Brien: “[Working with Sheen] is always a little weird because like the stuff you hear is just unbelievable…I mean like… I’m checking TMZ, as I do everyday, to know if I have to go to work at all.”
