CBS extended employment agreements for COO Joseph Ianniello through June 30, 2022, and chief legal officer Lawrence Tu through May 31, 2019, according to a regulatory filing on Monday.
Ianniello’s new contract continues to give him financial oversight of CBS until someone else is assigned that role and his base salary will top out at $2.75 million, though he can earn much more with incentives and bonuses and such.
In 2016, for example, Ianniello took in $29 million while CEO Leslie Moonves was paid $69.6 million in compensation.
Tu’s base salary will top off at $1.35 million annually, according to the filing, though he’ll also likely make much more than that with stock and bonuses.
