Anyone following Judd Apatow on Twitter for more than 10 minutes lately knows he is not a fan of Bill Cosby’s.
The director has been tweeting about recent allegations that Cosby sexually assaulted more than 20 women over several decades — claims Cosby has denied. And at least one of Apatow’s famous Twitter followers is tired of the rants, calling the director’s comments “strangely obsessive.”
“Dude. Enough,” Black-ish creator Kenya Barris tweeted at Apatow on Monday night. “Not defending him AT ALL, but u do realize this borders on strangely obsessive, right? Where was ur#EricGarner.”

Among Apatow’s recent zingers about Cosby:
— “I am pretty sure I have had sex with less people than he raped.”
— “Cosby has more victims than some cool people have followers.”
— “they should remake the Cosby show with scenes of Dr. Huxtable doing what Cosby has been doing. A perfect show for FX.”
After his plea to Apatow to stop, Barris posted his own series of tweets taking the director to task for virtually kicking Cosby when he’s already down. “Stop kicking. It’s like ur getn some sick pleasure,” Barris wrote. The man behind ABC’s hit freshman comedy did take a minute to compliment Apatow: “ur a genius, national treasure, maverick, & will probably now deservedly ruin my fledgling career.”
