Julia Roberts and her family are among the slew of stars who have been evacuated from their homes due to the devastating Woolsey Fire in Southern California, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Other stars who had to leave their homes include Martin Sheen and his wife; Kim Kardashian; Alyssa Milano; and Rainn Wilson, to name a few.
Shonda Rhimes on Sunday tweeted that her parents were forced to evacuate, along with a plea to donate to the Los Angeles FIre Department: “Grateful to have my parents safe here at our home this weekend — they evacuate their home due to the fires. If you can support the hardworking incredible first responders, please do.”
Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson lost his home in the fire, and Gerard Butler on Sunday shared a picture of a destroyed house, saying he returned home to find it lost.
Wendie Malick thanked the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department after a deputy helped rescue her horses and donkey from her property.
The Western Town at the Paramount Ranch in Agoura Hills burned down due to the wildfires. The historic filming location was most recently used on HBO’s Westworld.
The mansion where The Bachelor is filmed is in the fire’s path and is feared to have been lost.
The fire, which began around 2:30 p.m. Thursday, has burned more than 83,000 acres. As of Sunday morning, it was10 percent contained. Two deaths have been linked to the fire and are under investigation. Three firefighters have been injured and 177 structures have destroyed.
As of now, 57,000 structures are being threatened.
About 75,000 homes are impacted in the Woolsey Fire area, according to the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department.
The mandatory evacuation orders remain in effect for the cities of Malibu, Calabasas, Agoura Hills, Westlake Village and Hidden Hills and the communities of West Hills, Monte Nido, Gated Oaks and Topanga.
Authorities on Sunday morning stressed the importance of those were have been evacuated to stay away from the area.
Two people were found dead in Malibu on Saturday. The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department continues to investigate the deaths.
