Karlie Kloss doesn’t just rule the runways, front for L’Oreal Paris or make awesome kookies for Momofuku — she’s also an advocate for young women who code.
The supermodel has partnered with the Flatiron School in New York to create the Kode with Karlie scholarship, which will offer 20 young women, ages 13-18, the opportunity to participate in the same two-week coding course she attended last summer.

“Code is only going to continue to play a major role in defining our future,” says Kloss in a promo video. “I think it’s crucial that young women learn to code as early as possible to ensure that we as young women have a voice and a stake in what the world looks like.”
For those who are interested, submit a 60-second video explaining why you’d like to learn how to code this summer and if you make the cut, you might just be lucky enough to catch Kloss in class.
