Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure - H 2012
John Wick isn’t the only big movie Keanu Reeves is attached to. The actor is still linked to a prospective third Bill & Ted film, or BT3, as Reeves called it when The Hollywood Reporter asked him about the status of the movie a couple of weeks ago in New York.
Although there are reports that the untitled film, in the works since at least 2010, is getting closer to becoming a reality, Reeves said that how far along they are with the film changes from day to day. Some days it looks good and others, not so much.
He explained that the movie is currently stuck in “the business part of show business.”

“There’s a script, and we’re trying to get dough and rights,” he said.
Although Reeves has talked about and seems interested in making the movie, he cautioned that he’d make his final decision once the project became real.
“Once it became real, I’d have to look at it,” he told THR. “I think the idea of it I really like, and the writers have a really cool [and funny] idea for Bill and Ted in the sense of what it could be about.”

Alex Winter (aka Bill) recently shared some details about the story, which would fit in with the first two movies.
The threequel will be “about Bill and Ted grown up, or not grown up,” Winter told Yahoo! Movies. “The conceit is really funny: What if you’re middle-aged, haven’t really grown up and you’re supposed to have saved the world and maybe, just maybe, you kinda haven’t?”
“It’s not going to feel like a reboot,” Winter added. “It’s answering the question ‘What happened to these guys?’ They’re supposed to have done all this stuff. They weren’t the brightest bulbs on the tree. What happened 20 years later? To answer that question in a comedic way felt rich with possibility.”
Winter also apologized for the delay, explaining that they’ve been putting the project together in public after word got out that it was in the works.
