Here’s a twist for your Monday morning: The latest Kendall Jenner magazine news isn’t that the 20-year-old has landed yet another cover. Rather, she’s taking a turn on the other side of the lens.
The 20-year-old supe and Katie Grand, the stylist-editor of the biannual Love magazine, have teamed up to find the newest cover star for the Love 17 spring/summer 2017 issue, which hits newsstands in February. Twenty finalists will be chosen based on emailed headshot submissions (firstname.lastname@example.org) as well as through Instagram submissions which use the #LOVEME17. The chosen cover star and the remaining finalists will be photographed by Jenner herself in L.A. in late November.
Jenner is slowly building her fashion photography portfolio; in July of this year, she tested her wings by shooting fellow celeb-spawn model Kaia Gerber for the fall issue of Love.
“If you are between the age of 15-35, apply with a picture of yourself and say who you are and what you love to do,” wrote Jenner on Instagram of the contest. “We want to hear from you!”
#LOVEME17 . For our next issue @kendalljenner and I are looking for the next ICON for our Love 17 cover star to be photographed by Kendall in LA late November. To apply take a picture of yourself here or on twitter and hashtag #LOVEME17 or email us email@example.com
