On her app and website on Tuesday, Jenner addressed her controversial look: “I don’t really see what the big deal is with going braless! It’s sexy, it’s comfortable and I’m cool with my breasts!” Of her jewelry choices, she added, “Jacquie Aiche made me a couple of pieces that are really sick — like a pair of angel wings.” That’s right, the mere mention of Jenner’s breasts equals trending on Google and Facebook.
Madewell’s Denim Every Day Features Goop, Vans Collabs [Fashionista]
On Tuesday, Madewell launched its “Denim Every Day” project, which features a new denim collaboration — you guessed it — every day for 24 days. First up is a collaboration with Vans, in which the brand’s classic high-top sneaker was given a denim facelift ($70). Other brands featured in the series include Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop (which created a denim jumpsuit) as well as P.F. Candle Co. (which created an exclusive “Overalls” scent) and ABC Carpet and Home (which crafted a denim chair).
CFDA Names 40 New Members [WWD]
Fashion’s exclusive club just got a little bigger. Earlier this week, the CFDA admitted 40 new designers to its board, bringing the total member count to 504. Among the new members are Lady Gaga’s stylist-turned-designer Brandon Maxwell, Sarah Flint, Timo Weiland, Wes Gordon and Marissa Webb.
