After announcing in February that they would be launching an exclusive capsule collection at Topshop, professional selfie-takers Kendall and Kylie Jenner officially have revealed that their eponymous line will be hitting select stores and Topshop.com as early as June 3.
A new Instagram account created specifically for their trademarked Kendall + Kylie brand, which they also used to collaborate with PacSun, gives a behind-the-scenes look at the collection they designed to reflect “the girls’ L.A. lifestyle and their contemporary, eclectic design aesthetic.”
As is evident from the line sheet visible in Kylie’s hand, this latest collaboration appears to be much more elevated than the sisters’ previous youthcentric collections for PacSun and Madden Girl. Bodysuits, cut-out crop tops, A-line skirts and sleeveless trench coats — all in solid neutral colors with just a few bright pops of cherry red — seem to be much more in line with the girls’ maturing style than were the printed kimonos and denim cutoffs from their festival-inspired PacSun line.
Sketches of the Jenner moguls reveal sexy pieces, such as an underboob-baring halter on Kylie and a lace-up bustier with a buckled halter strap on Kendall, though compared to the girls’ Instagram accounts (ahem, Kylie’s), we’d say these images are rather tame.
