Kendrick Lamar pulled up to the MTV VMAs looking dapper as ever.
Styled by Dianne Garcia, the Compton-born rapper stepped out in a black jacket and slacks, as well as a comic book-print shirt from Prada’s spring 2018 collection. Lamar also wore a pair of Nike Cortez kicks and a Chrome Hearts necklace.

Lamar continued to sartorially steal the show with his opener, hitting the stage to perform “DNA” and “Humble” in an all-red outfit that included a do-rag and puffer jacket. The performer’s set lit up, literally, when a samurai covered in fire appeared on stage opposite him.
Lamar scored the most nominations for this year’s VMAs, including video of the year and best hip hop video for “HUMBLE,” and artist of the year.
